Wednesday, June 18th – Long Day of Driving Today was a long day of driving… We drove from Mount Rushmore to Colorado Springs… It was a very long day in the car…we did make it to the hotel a bit early, so the kids had plenty of chance to swim in the nice heated pool….
Our Snake River tours were at 12:30 so we decided to stay in Jackson Hole for the morning to take a look around. Definitely a very touristy place, but we really liked it. Jackson Hole is approximately an hour from Yellowstone, with a beautiful drive through the Grand Teton National Park to get to Yellowstone….
The kids had been counting down to Halloween for a couple of weeks. Costumes had been picked out for weeks, it was just waiting for THE day!
